I know you're ,issing an "l" in your coding, but I was wondering:
Why do you need to tell the PC that you're typing in a URL? It detects it automatically anyway! |

Sometimes it detects it, but not always......
So that is why. |

Macs aren't fun. We all know that. But they do serve a purpose. For example, Web designers have to make sure colors and formats look good on all systems. Owning a mac helps you do that easily. Other than that, Mac is the leading in movie and music development. So David, if you ever went proffesional, you would be forced by your colleagues to dump the PC. Sorry man. |

Let me explain my position on Macs:
I would be very, very glad if someone gave me an iMac. Why? Because there are really strange people out there that still like the thing and I could get a ton of money selling it on eBay. So, if anyone wants to give me a Mac, feel free!
I used to like Macs... back when the alternative was Windows 3x or worse. I still had my Mac when Windows 95 came out, but got a Windows computer soon afterwards. Apple Computers had a far better idea for their product, but they failed abysmally in marketing. Now, marketing's just about all they have left, as they have to convince people that Macs are "cool" since no one but graphics designers would buy them for their computing power. I don't know about you, but commercials that say "We have a 2 Ghz processor, 120 gig HD, etc., etc. computer with monitor for $699" get me a lot more interested than a man saying "Hey, look, it's purple! And you can see through it!" |

One thing I've always hated about macs is their lack of upgradablility. I mean, when a mac is outdated, you throw it in the trash. To me that doesn't make much sense. |

Styrofoam cups do have a lot of merit. This reminds me of something I did when I was little. My brother and I discovered that if we rubbed our heads against the couch, we could do some major zapping. We proceeded to do this for approximately a half an hour, and I'm sure you can imagine what happened. Our hair got completely tangled on our heads. My mom wasn't pleased AT ALL because she literally couldn't get the tangles out of our hair. So my advice to all of you is... do not rub your head on a couch... or a styrofoam cup for that matter!
Did I mention that if you turn off the lights you can see the little static sparks? That's why we spent so much time rubbing our heads against the couch! 8) |
