Right now, with this ever so close race in which I slightly trail, I am thankful that several people cast absentee ballots in my favor...

But I really need some more votes... this election is going down to the wire!

I'm not sure which wire, but whichever one it is, this election is going down to it.

And just a note to whoever didn't vote-----don't listen to all those people saying to vote for Hawkeye, Ferder and BC. That's ridiculous! A much more effective way to use your vote is to vote for Jared Walczak. Please!!!!

Yes, Ferder (and any other candidates who didn't realize this), they can.

They do so in real life and I see no reason why candidacy should deprive someone of a vote here. Go ahead - vote for yourself.

As for the possibility of a tie: well, absentee ballots (where I picked up a nice handful of votes, incidentally -- but also coincidentally... I didn't plan setting up absentee ballots knowing I'd get a nice handful of them in my favor) are yet to be added in. But in the event that after they were placed in with the totals, the result was a tie...

I didn't really plan for such a case, but I suppose that at that point, it would go to a runoff between Hawkeye and I with no other candidates involved. That would probably sway the vote far enough one way or another to determine a winner.

And if THAT results in a tie? Too complex... I don't even want to think about that! Wink

To add to anna k's comments, yes, cast your vote for Hawkeye! Every vote counts at this point, and I belive that there are still enough people out there to swing the vote. Right now, things are still looking alright, but there are the absentee ballots to think of, so once again everyone, if you haven't yet, make the right decision and vote for Hawkeye for Mayor. Smile
