I would first of all like to thank all who are reading this for taking their time to note this post.
As I am not well-versed in the art of speech-giving, or the like, I shall attempt to make this as brief an announcement as possible...

As some of you may know, at the start of the campaign, I posted a brief endorsement supporting the re-election of our illustrious Mayor Jared Walczak. And while, at the start of this election, I was completely sure he was the only qualified candidate for the position in question, this certainty has begun to change. Due to the nature of a forum such as the Town Hall, I have come to the conclusion (as many others have), that a change in leadership would not only be beneficial, but is vitally essential for a changing arena such as the Town Hall, and more specifically, the Town of Odyssey. While it has taken me an unusually long time to arrive at this decision, I believe that it is justified. Certainly it is hard to recant a previous endorsement, and I had no immediate desire to do so. Recent thought on the matter, and considerable pondering has led me to believe that it is in the best interests of this election that I alter my initial endorsement. And while I applaud Mayor Walczak for the excellent job he performed in the position of Mayor this past term, I feel it is time for a change in leadership, and what better time than now to initiate it. I hope that, as administrator, he will continue to bring the positive changes to the Town Hall that we have been so very blessed to experience these past few months.

Therefore, it is my distinct pleasure to announce my endorsement of Hawkeye for the position of Mayor of our very own (very esteemed) Town of Odyssey. I believe that he will prove to be highly capable of offering a change in leadership that will be progressive, genuine, and most certainly beneficial.

Aw, Coral fish.. you're kinda like EoR, she was indorsing Hawkeye for a LOOOOOOOOOOOOONG time and then stopped.. you did the same.. Crying or Very sad

But I still advise you to VOTE JARED FOR MAYOR!

I think I will use this post to make a small announcement of my own. I am pleased to announce that I have made my desision concerning whom I will vote for in the up coming Mayoral Elections: Hawkeye.

I have thought long and hard about this desision (seriously I have Embarassed

) so I feel that I am making the right choice in supporting Hawkeye's campaign.

With that all I have left to say is this:

VOTE HAWKEYE FOR MAYOR

Thank you all for yor support in this decision..believe me, it took a while before I wanted to publically post this. Wink

Anyhow, I am glad to hear of all the other support from various members, and I am pleased to note that, in my opinion, things are looking significantly optimistic at this point and time. Smile

So with that, I will swallow any embarrasement at making a loud public endorsement, and encourage you all, on the day of the vote, to:

Vote for Hawkeye for Mayor of Odyssey!

Robin, I would appreciate it if you wouldn't put words in my mouth- I said no such thing. And yes, I was confused, but I'm mostly set on endorsing Jared this time.

I have avoided replying for a while, as it took time to accept the presented information. My former campaign manager... A Hawkeyecrat! (Or whatever... we don't really have much in the way of organized parties here.)

Forgive me as I leave to weep for a while... Losing votes is not fun. Cry
