Alright, I know there are lots of people running for mayor, but I still have yet to find out what exactly a Mayor's duties are around the Town Hall.

Are people running simply to have the title "Mayor" added to their name? Or are there actually duties a mayor should preform?

Also, what is the difference between an Admin's job and Mayorial duties? With Jared being Admin, Mayor and a Moderator there does not seem to be a clear line drawn between the duties each has to preform. Could someone fill me in on this?

They are given moderatorship for Town of Odyssey, true, but it also, in my mind, at least, puts them in a position to change the whole boards for the better. Indeed, the duty of a mayor is to leave those in his charge better off than when he started through whatever acceptable means available. (Or, in deference to one of our candidates, her charge and when she started.)

Well, usually when you vote in a new president the old president isn't still called 'president.' But as to Jared's mayoral rank being taken off.....who says he won't get reelected? Wink

If someone else gets elected as mayor, Jared will no longer be moderator of Town of Odyssey, but he will still be mod. for Offtopic and Town Hall. Am I right? I am trying to understand the mayoral duties here........

I know I'm biased in this regard, but I don't see why. Sitting presidents, senators, congressmen, mayors, councilmen and borough dog catchers do not have their titles revoked during the voting process! Smile
