Who cares? Jared knows anyway, Jarod obviously knows, even though I haven't told him, and Syndey became a shrink and knows that I switch presonalities at random. Currently I'm somewhere between Rachael Blackgaard and Ms. Parker. Andrea Blackgaard! Rachael Parker! Hahaha, I've thrown out my medication! It's really drugs that will make me lose custody of my son. I have a son? I must, I was on TV yesterday. Wait, that wasn't me. THat was a used to be junkie who was actually not a junkie. I still can't figure out who I am. Just wait, another ten minutes and I'm going to be Princess Leia. Hahahaha! I can't watch pretender today. I'm going on my space ship. Vroom, vroom, beep beep! Watch the road, stupid asteroid! ERT, crash! Byebye, spaceship. Byebye, gravity. Byebye, body...
Now I'm Ms. Parker again! Brring, brring. "What?!" It's Broots. "Broots! I told you! No more leaking information that's classified. Or I'll send you to your daughter's room and put her in charge."
Now I'm Jarod. "Hello, I'm a pretender. I'm among us. I help some people and kill others. I don't really kill people, I only do it for fun. I killed some Jazz people but not really and took pictures of them. I don't like Jazz. I don't like mean people. Mean people taked me from my mommy. I didn't remember my had a brother until I remembered I had a brother. My brother is a pretender. Ms. Parker has a brother. Ms. Parker wants to kill me. Ms. Parker doesn't like pretenders. I'm a pretender. I'm among us. I help some people..."
Now I'm Philip Glossman. "Ah, I'm Philip Glossman! I dislike myself immensely. I give myself fleas. I always fail."
I'm Ms. Parker again. "I was shot in the back. I don't need a Spychiatrist. I'm my daddy's angel. I don't like Brigitte. She wants to kill Jarod. I really like Jarod, but my boss doesn't. That's why he hired Brigitte, but Brigitte is dead or not. My daddy is missing. My brother is a mean person. I not like mean persons. mean persons kidnapped Jarod and killed my mommy."

Ms. Parker, a.k.a. half a dozen other things, I have terminated all corporate relationships with you and your half dozen plus other entities you claim to have and, in fact, decided to return any and all payments (a.k.a. insurance to keep me from "blabbing") you have sent me over the past seventeen years, thus ensuring my immediate freedom from your bondage and authority.

Regarding Mr. Walczak's allegedly clarifying "long speech" and claims of power hunger: A certain exasperated individual (referred to occasionally as A.D., namely by E87M2 - in other words, myself) wishes to make something very clear. Our current dictator is blasting me, lambasting me as a "tyrant" and "evildoer"... "suffer[ing] great mental trauma..." having "brutal schemings" and "inisidious plots," hinting that I promote "terror" and "oppression," fight against "liberty," "peace," and and "freedom," and despise the "very principles of democracy."

First of all, let me kindly make reference to the fact that one of our current autocrat whom we have elected (read: "cede[d] authority" to) "democratically" has virtually unlimited power as an administrator/mayor, thus making him, in essence, a dictator* as well, albeit a "democratically" elected one. Not everybody wanted you as mayor, administrator, and dictator. Not everybody wants me as dictator, apparently you included in those select megalomaniacal "intellectually elite." If you recall, in my proclamation, I stated that this was to be so, because of "the imperative and irrefutable solicitation of an overwhelming superiority of the citizens of this Humble Town of Odyssey, not to mention the entire online community at large[.]" If you give me unassailable and irrefragable evidence to the contrary, I will acquiescently give up any and all claim to any authority here at the Town Hall and any current administrative position in this Humble Town of Odyssey. (Disclaimer: This does not prevent my future running for office, of course.) However, without that "unassailable and irrefragable evidence to the contrary," I can not and will not cede my community-given authority, unless it is shown that it is not community-given. I need an outright majority of all members of the Town Hall and all citizens of the Humble Town of Odyssey, plus an unanimous vote on the Town Hall leadership staff (the autocrats).** I am not guilty until proven innocent - a totally anti-American concept! You, Jared Walczak, accuse me of being anti-democratic, yet you yourself seem to hold anti-American values of absolutism in your regime, unwarranted slander, a direct rebuttal of the dear American concept of "innocent until proven guilty," and a loathe for democracy. "What do you mean, Jared loathes democracy?" you ask. Take a look at this statement:

"And we, the people of Odyssey, shall not and must not cede authority democratically to one who so despises the very principles of democracy."

So he is now trying to dictate support and dismissal for even consideration for office for persons allegedly (under his opinion) not holding similar values as he does. Is this the sort of individual you all wish to keep in office, my friends and comrades? This was before he even hears where persons like I even stand for! I am for positive reformation of our currently seemingly nonexistent law and vigorously against "pernicious, malevolent, and tyrannical administration[s.]" Does that sound like an anti-democratic individual to you? This is undoubtedly unwarranted slander on the part of our Honorable Mayor!

Am I power hungry, as indicated by E87M2? Perhaps. Truly, I say to you, all that wish to listen to my honest and fervent words: This is not a matter of opinions, or even of anti-democratic thought. This is a matter of fact, of majority opinion, and of absolutism which has been brought about by our Honorable Mayor Jared Walczak and his predecessors. (Actually, apparently "predecessors" is not a word.)

I recall a time when the Town Hall was about Adventures in Odyssey. Is it still? Take a look for yourself. I wish for reformation, not absolutism. With this, I cast my bid for mayor, in order to have authority "cede[d]" to me "democratically," instead of controversially. (Hear me, Jared? More competition! Like you really care... Razz

) The choice is yours, my fellow citizens, but I wish for an honest evaluation of candidates, not just "vote for the incumbent because I don't know who the heck this Arthur Dent fellow is."

Far be it from me to coment, but after reading the above proclamation (if that is indeed a suitable term to use for such a post), it would seem that these campaigns have taken a significantly different turn from those of the previous election. Whether that be for good or bad remains as yet to be seen I suppose.

Indeed though, to say the least, it is interesting. Wink
