| Do you people out there think the end of the world is very close ? or We are just in another "cycle".. Im not trying to spark all out debate, just reasons plz. Debate in one of my World Philosophy classes. (hey, its near the end, shouldnt be learning anyways..) |

| well everybody thought the world was going to end at year 1000. Then at year 2000 everybody went crazy again so you never can tell and nobody knows. |

according to the Bible, no one can know when. But some of the prophesies in the Bible have been coming true, so.... I conclude that the end is closer than it used to be.  |

Seriously, my mom was scared because her pastor kept stating the end of the world was near. I think that would strike fear in anyone's heart. *laughs* But I'm ready! ^_^ |

Umm...just out of curiosity, that doesn't mesh up. If the Anti-Christ were in power in the next 30 years then that would make the "end of the world" in the next 40, maybe 50 years, tops (allowing that his 7-year "tribulation" rule doesn't begin right away). What do you mean then by your answer (I know you won't get into nasty arguing with me, so I figured it was safe to ask. )?
I like rosie's answer. 
I think it's near, but then people all through the ages have thought the same thing. Will we see it in our lifetime? Only God knows...He says not even the Son knows the Father's timing. I'll have to find that verse, so it doesn't sound like I'm making some off-the-wall statement. The important thing is to make sure we're ready for it. |

| I think about year 2700~3000. I'm a post mil and I don't think a dictator is going to come and unite all evil. I belive that Christians will increase and increase and then Christ comes. I might be of course wrong. Only God knows. |
