| The point is, Glossman doesn't know the difference between a square and a triangle! But just to show you I'm not too harsh, he did recognize a circle. And don't even get me started on counting on fingers. He would be in good shape if he could figure that out. Jellyfish isn't much better, considering he's a traitor, but at least he was smart enough to take care of himself. And do I care who he incriminates? No one will incriminate me. It doesn't matter who incriminates Regis with anything. He always escapes. Anyway... |

| Hehe... I dislike Glossman as well. When I heard Paul McCusker's voice as himself, at first I was like... "GLOSSMAN! You... you..." You get the idea. |

| Oh great! I didn't know McCusker did his voice. Well, at least McCusker is a better man the Glossman will ever be... |

They're more difficult than THAT...
But I still think they're rather useless and are not a good indicator of intelligence. And they don't even TRY to get into knowledge... you don't have to know anything to take an IQ test and do well. |

| Hmm... I was wondering how I made such a lousy score on my test when I did well in school. I mean, how embarrassing is 196? I thought I'd die when my mom read the results. |

How embarassing? Not very...
What's more embarassing is that 196 is definitely not your IQ test score if you were using any standard test. Any score of 140+ is classified as "genius or near genius." Less than 1 percent of individuals who take the test score above 130. Some tests don't even score above 140. On those that do, the hightest score EVER achieved was in the 190s. If you got a 196, you would be at LEAST in the top two or three best IQ test takers in the world throughout all the years the test has been in place.
So, I'm assuming that there was some confusion with the score, right? You didn't really get a 196? (Or you took a non-standard, generic test that uses a completely different scoring system?) |

| I don't know. One of my friends made a 210 on it, and my brother made a 115. I just assumed my brother wasn't the brightest crayon in the box. Then again, it could have been a different method of scoring, because on another STANDARD test I made a 179, and my brother made a 104. I have no idea. I can find a test online, take it, and post my results from there so that you can decide for yourself what kind of scoring method they use. I'm lost about those kinds of things... |

| Hmm...I took an IQ(aptitiude?) test a long long time ago. However, it seemed that, more than anything, determining the answers was a matter of common sense (e.g. numeric and geometric sequences). There were a number of thought-type questions which also seemed to involve a certain level of common sense..not a brilliant mind or anything. However, I have to agree with the people who wrote prior to this post in saying that it seems somewhat futile to attempt to judge an individual's intelligence based on thier mastery of various sequences of numbers... |

Believe me: you didn't get 179 on a standard test. You'd be in the top 1/9th of one percent or so and if you took a standard test where your score is actually logged, you'd be getting mail from MENSA asking you to join. And as for the other test, the 210 is a completely impossible score in a real IQ test.
What you took could NOT have been standard tests.
On another note, I just looked up online IQ tests and took a miniature one. I got a 152, but am convinced that the test scores artificially high. The site is www.testcafe.com and the questions were amazingly simple. I once (a long time ago) took a far more difficult and detailed test online and got a 143, which is probably still slightly high, but far more accurate. It had questions that actually made you THINK as opposed to the silly questions on this "short IQ test" on the testcafe.com site and actually took an hour as opposed to 12 minutes.
If you want to take it, we can compare scores, I guess, but I'd say that any score received on it is by nature 10-20 points higher than one would probably get if really taking the test.
On other test note, I have my SAT results back... a 1420. I'm happy with it, as it's far above the national average (1021, I think), but was a little disappointed with my math score. I'll probably take the test again this fall in an attempt to bump it up to a 1460 or so... |
