OK, an update.........sorta........kinda

First (I've mentioned this to some, but didn't realize that I didn't put it on here). The van was found quite a ways from here............ON FIRE.....shortly after the owner realized it was missing. So now, the rummor is not only am I a theif, I'm a piromaniac......which is wrong since I am terrified of fires.......even camp fires.

Also the pastor wanted to have a meeting with me and this lady......not becuase of the van.........because they wanted to check up on how I'm doing as far as job search, school, etc.....(meaning they were being nosy because I stay to myself and don't tell people my business very much).....I picked then to decide that I was tired of being the nice guy (or gal).........I let him, my friend (who already knew) and this lady know exactly how I felt about the situation and the rumors........

This lady sat there and acted like she knew nothing of the rumors. She's either really really good at acting........or she really didn't know........I am convinced of the first option since she's the one who opened her mouth and first told people that she believed I had stolen the car..............had she used some LOGIC and realized MY car was gone too and no one can drive two vehicles at the same time, I don't think the rumors would have ever gotten started.

The pastor seemed to feel that I was over reacting (though he didn't specifically say so) until I told him point blank that I was upset enough that I considered leaving the church (and I made it clear.....the church....as in ANY church) and that the only reason I went this weekend was because I had "orders" to go from someone whom I respect. At that point, he seemed to be taking me and my feelings slightly more seriously.

Anyway, it wasn't much.........but that's the latest......
