|
We, the undersigned, citizens of the town of Odyssey, hereby request that a revote is held for the mayoral election, summer term 2003. I request that a neutral board member (as in, some one not running for mayor) be in charge of the polls, if that is possible.
Signed,

| I agree completely. Seems kind of immature to me. |

Now that I'm out of office, I might as well admit it. I didn't particularly like the position... I did it for the elections. It's fun trying to outmaneuver the others. The first election was particularly enjoyable, as I encouraged one person to run knowing that their presense would hurt Hawkeye's totals and convinced two individuals to drop out, knowing that their presense would hurt me.
And the ads the first time around were ... interesting.
There was more mudslinging the first time around (remember the allegations that I was a part of organized crime? ), but this time, the race seemed more ... bitter, perhaps?
Well, anyway, the elections were fun and I can revel in my victories. And now that it's over, I won't feel too badly if the office is abolished. |

And this election was not bitter, rather, injured. |
