Bennett, I've got a question for you: Do you want Jared to be mayor?
If yes, then vote for him. But if you don't, vote for Hawkeye as he's the only other one who's got a chance to win. The other people running have good intentions (or a lust for power), but no hope of winning. Why waste a vote when you might have some real influence in who gets elected?
Jared or Hawkeye? Which do you want? |

Elf: Well, the people with picthforks will only come around if Jared is voted in for mayor.
Bennet: I am the best candidacte because I am older! Ok, well, that and Jared has had his run, and he has been too busy with administrative tasks to do any mayorial tasks! I mean, check out his Mayorial site ( http://www.odysseyscoop.com/jaredwalczak/index.html )! It hasnt been updated in months!
Also, take a look at his top ten goals:

I can only think of one singing postman; Wooten. But for some reason, most Odyssians, and a few TH Odyssians like him... And it is illegal to intentionaly prevent US mail from being delivered, thus Jared may have been committing a crime had he followed up on this successfully. Not to mention the times Wooten has helped Whit, Jack, and other people... Wooten has done far too much good for Odyssey and it's people.

And here I am reminded of a quote.... "Tighten the government's belt and cut frivolous spending!" (paraphrased from 'Mayor for Day').
But Jared's own words are most government officials are rich when they get into office, thus they dont need the pay they recieve for doing their govenrment tasks, so why should the mayor get paid at all?

Again, frivolous spending! Why do the taxpayers of Odyssey (including those overtaxed Whit's End customers) have to pay for this frivolty?

My agenda is simple: To serve the people of Odyssey as best as possible. That includes not spending millions on advertizing or mansions! |
