As you can probably tell from the time this was posted, I am a chronic insomniac.
I love to sleep, and I could very well sleep for 10 hours, however most of the time I am just too lazy to go to bed early(if that makes any sense). I have this Saturday morning class which to me is just....wrong. Oh well, after reading gimps posts, I feel fortunate that I get the sleep that I do! |

| I once stayed up most of the night doing research. Soon, the letters began dancing around and all my surroundings had turned into cornmeal mush, but I still kept going. Nothing was tangible anymore... they were ephemeral, and I dared not touch anything, lest they disappear in their evanescence. Then, a thought came to me- I need sleep. |

A Saturday morning class?!? That's just.......wrong. Saturdays are for church, and Odyssey, and church and DGL, and other radio shows.....did I mention church?
As for me, I now have attempted leaving the world of sleep deprivation........however, dispite having A LOT of time on my hands and a virtually empty schedual. Other than usher board and chior meetings at church during the week, writing talks for church/Spiritual Growth Class, and working on my music for special music for church, I have nothing I HAVE to get done. (all that may seem like a lot, however all combined it only takes about 8-10 hrs of my week.....I can write my talks in less than three hours if I already have a topic in mind and the meetings are never longer than an hour or so each.) However I'm still not sleeping (force of habbit probably)......but at least I know am acquatinted with what a bed is.
Peace Out
-Gimp who has tried to leave the world of sleep deprivation. |

Well, as most of us AREN'T Seventh Day Adventists, Saturdays are NOT for church for us.
Well, church Bible studies, perhaps. But not regular services.
You sound like you have a relaxed Saturday. Unfortunately, it is the busiest day of the week for me. I work, then I get home and work... then I do my over-the-weeked pre-calc work. Currently, I'm slightly behind in physics, so I do some of that as well.
Saturdays are NOT my favorite day of the week... |

They should be. Sunday is not the day of worship that God intended.
Also, no, my Saturdays are not all that relaxed....especially (like yesterday) when I'm schedualed to do special music, yet forgot all about it being my turn 'til I got to church....then I'm stuck doing something with no music.....or when I'm schedualed to do a talk in Spiritual Growth classes Saturday afternoons.......I don't usually wait until the last minute, however there have been several occasions when at 2 AM on Saturday morning, I'm just finishing writing the paper.
Compared to Sunday through Friday though, Saturdays are relaxed since they're organized and structured. I (usually) know exactly what I'll be doing and when I'll be doing it way before Saturday arrives. So it's relaxed in the sense that there's no (or little) chaos in my day.
Peace Out
