Hello!
Over this past weekend, I realized that I have probably not properly introduced myself on the newbies board. Sorry :(
I'm Shana (shanbob). Nice to meet ya'll.
Uhm. If you want to know anything else, just ask. I'll probably give you an answer
...although you already know that I am short...or at least you do now.

Nice to "meet" you, shanbob! Better late than never, or so I've heard, so your greeting is still entirely appropriate.
Please correct me if I am wrong, but I've gotten the impression that you, *daniel and Gus all know each other in the real wolrd. Am I delusional, or brilliant at deduction? |

Where did the "Bob" part of "shanbob" come from? I've simply been curious about that, for a while -- you aren't obligated to answer. |

Thank you for the "late, but better than never" welcome :)
lol... That's alot of questions!
Well, I'll try my best to comply
1. It is your understanding that I know Daniel and Gus in the 'real' world?
Yes. Daniel/Dax/Xhan, Gus, and I know each other outside of 'cyberspace.' I am blessed to be included in their circle of aquaintances as they each have a brilliant mind, and a unique sense of humour. You all know that about them already though
Daniel and I have some rather indirect but close friends and family/business associations (FTR: we are not related!)
Gus, he's just coo man. He's got a Mazda!!
Gus and Dax happen to hang out with my b/f, so we all see each other here and there because of that, not to mention we live relatively close to each other now that I have moved... depending how fast you drive though... I am sure I would tell you it takes about twice as long as it should...
2. Where did the 'bob' part of my name come from?
Well. There are several versions, and I don't know which one is correct, and I don't want to misrepresent anyone... so..
Basically, it's a Nick-name that my b/f gave me. (<--Pun on words )
Friends call me shan, so he put the shan and the bob together. More often than not he'll call me "bobette," the feminine version of the name 'Bob'.--> Thus the etiology of my name
