I'm currently in the midst of reading Michael Schooyan's The Hidden Face of the United Nations and figured I might proffer a recommendation. If you are an individual who's interested in such things and don't mind the inconsistancies present in a text translated out of French, it is an interesting read.
For a bit lighter fare, I just finished Mission Compromised by Oliver North, preceeded by The Jericho Sanction last Christmas. However, as a word of advice, it may be wiser to read them in opposite order, rather than following my financially-driven order of novel purchasing. |

That sounds anti-UN, is it?

I read Mission Compromised a year or two ago, it's a good book. The Jericho Sanction is sitting on my shelf waiting to be read.

I used to listen to that show, but the only Christian station that played it cancelled it b/c of some bogus reasons while they were switching to a more 'modern' format. I enjoyed it muchly.

Just wondering do you recall the first episode you heard? Mine was titled Pecking order. |

I LOVE Cooper Kids and Veritas Project! IMO The Veritas Project is better than CK (no I don't mean Cross Kritters. ). I HIGHLY recommend The Veritas Project move; Frank Peretti's Hangman's Curse! I just recently bough This Present Darkness.
I just recently got Apt Pupil (about the time I got TPD) too. Haven't had time to watch it yet, though. I did read, and enjoy the novella. |

Nope, that was a long time ago, at least 6 years, probably more than that.

The best way to describe the book is to say that it takes a skeptical look at the current structures and ideologies that drive the United Nations in it's current form.
Schooyans has a distinctly sarcastic, toungue-in-cheek way of writing about what some consider to be an omnipotent international system, but can he really be blamed? |

I think not. I'm skeptical of the ideologies of the UN as well.

Yes! Someone who likes to knit! I'm just learning to crochet too - I'm actually making an afghan from a book I got at the library. |
