I love all of those except for the toilet seat one......men don't care if it's down because they can use it down too. Women on the other hand might be in a hurry and will rush in and go to sit down and then start to fall in, which is completely gross and ewwww........IT'S JUST GROSS so put down the seat!! Come on! That is like my only requirement from a guy!

Well, apart from the fact that I can't believe I'm reading any of this, its all rather appalling. Wink

There's a bit too much here to offer a complete reply, but I'd certainly have to agree with those here who do not fit the sterotypes. But then again, perhaps that's why the term "weird" exists. If we're denoting a deviation from the perceived norm, I will bask happily in my "weirdness."

(As a brief psychological side note, its best usually to mask such terms with synonyms such as "multifaceted". I've found that "weird" does not exactly result in expresssions of respect and awe. "Multifaceted" does).

I also understand that nothing I'm saying here has any reference to the superiority of one gender over another. Rather, I chose to hide my language in superfluous prose in order to respond and yet neglect actually making an opinionated statement. So be it.

As for this:

The point is, many fathers are very involved in the lives of their children. Now, the thought of ever having kids is a little horrifying to me, and is a major commitment that perhaps I don't even want to think about at the moment, but if I ever do have children, I do expect to be quite involved in their lives.

I'm appalled. I'm really speechless, I'm so angry at you.

Now, in response to Continental Admiral's horror, I would like to awe and impress you with a piece of information I picked up today in Biology lecture.

According to scientific terminology, a "grossly deformed child" is synonymous with the medical term "monster" or "monstrocity" (though neither is used much, due to its modern connotations).

I follow this by noting that, yes, children ARE scary! Horrifying, in fact!

Obviously, the medical community knew it too. Take heed. Wink

(And yes, before I'm tarred and feathered for my comments, there is a chance that I may (note: may) be slighly kidding and not speaking with complete candor nor seriousness).

You have been so advised.
