Well, to get right to the point, I'm singing in a competition in April, and can't at the moment. You see, I just got braces, and an expander in the roof of my mouth that impairs my speech, makes it so some of my sounds can't be enuciated correctly, and I wouldn't worry except that....I can't sing! *Panic* So yeah, I'd appeciate it if y'all would pray that I would quickly get used to it! Thanks!

I will pray that you will get used to singing with that thing in your mouth ( I to had to live with that! It hurt!) Anyway I pray that your singing will not be altered too much with this vile contraption in your mouth.

I know how that goes (I've had just about everything done to me at the ortho, including surgery). I'll pray it goes well.

Thanks for praying everyone! Right now I can pronounce everything unless it ends with an ee (B, C, D, E, G, P, T, V, Z) and then my K's and F's, but people aren't asking me to re-say everything now! It's been a week, so (supposedly,) by Friday I'm supposed to be able to talk correctly. I'd appreciate your continued prayers! Smile
