I was listening to a talk show here in seattle, and learned Martha Stewart is the anti-christ...

listen for yourself = http://www.streamaudio.com/listen?station=KIRO_AM&streamtype=archiveaudio&optin=no&filename=stewart.asf

I listened out of curiousity to see what they were talking about... I wasn't at all impressed with the song. Really sickening and stupid - and it makes light of something serious.

I'm not at all opposed to parody-style songs (I enjoy many of Rush Limbaugh's parodies), but this just didn't seem at all appropriate.

Agree with the person right above this. While Martha Stewart maybe lacking some business ethics she is certainly not what being the anti-christ implies. Whoever orginally said that should read Revelations.

Actually it's kind of a strange topic to think about. It's very possible that the Anti-Christ is alive at this very moment, and he could be a kid or an adult... If he's an adult now then he's probably getting close to 30 or so, and that's when (about that time) the AC will appear. Good thing that will be after the rapture... I would hate to have to see all the horrible things happen when I'm around.

On the other hand, the AC might not even be around yet and we're all just hoping for Christ's second coming... either way, I'm willing to wait around because God's plan is not necessarily ours.

All my life I have watched for Christ's return but it hasn't happened yet. I am 17 now and kinda nervous about "growing up" and getting a job and making something of myself... that's why I want the rapture to come soon. Life is getting tough! Razz

You have a slight problem with it, Zwall? Do you not believe that the verses in the Bible are conclusive or do you think, perhaps, that it happens at a different time than most of us would think?

Jacob, we should always live our lives knowing Christ could return at any minute, but we also should not be surprised if He doesn't. He's waited 2000+ years and while society is bad now, it's been a lot worse before. Could the rapture happen in 5 minutes? Of course! But it could also happen in a thousand years.

Yes, I know Jared... It's just always been on my mind.

You have a problem with the rapture, Zwall? What's your problem, may I ask?

I've heard alot of things about the rapture. I know none of them are true but it's kinda funny things like...
...the moment everyone on the face of the earth has heard the message of JC, the rapture will begin
...the moment no one in the world doesn't think about the rapture it will occur...

things like that. Ever since the ever popular LBehind books were released and I started reading them, I've thought alot about the rapture. I think about how Simeion in NT prayed to God that he would see Christ's 1st coming, and I think it would be awesome to see his 2nd coming, and be with him for his 3rd coming. I am not afraid to die but I really would love to see Christ come back on earth (being alive, I realize that the will see his 2nd coming etc;). Just a thought. Sometimes life seems so hard and you just want the earth to stop spinning and go on w/ life, in heaven.

Well said, Joshua. :)

That's exactly what I have thought about all my life. Earlier I had explained that I have looked forward to Christ's return... I just want him to come back already! Look at all the wickedness going on! You can't even go to a movie anymore without being offended! There's a new moview called "Bruce Almighty" coming out and it's about a guy that is God for one day... looks very very disrespectful towards God and even makes fun of "Let there be light" and walking on water. I'm mad that it's coming out. Evil or Very Mad
